Minds officially blown! In our fifth Power Rankings of the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, host Czechia takes over top spot after surviving at true pressure cooker and blanking the high-powered U.S. 1-0 in the quarter-finals. Defending champion Canada, which outshot Slovakia 43-21 in its 6-3 victory over Slovakia, is still hanging tough in second place. And the Swiss, who got the playoff monkey off their backs by eliminating Germany 3-1, take over third place. We’re stoked to see how the medal games play out in Prague.
